If you can get the 780 for a decent price of Black Friday, go ahead and get it.

Why would you buy a GTX 770 at $325 (-$10 rebate) when its principal rival, the Radeon HD 7970 is $65 less at $280 (-$30 rebate)?
Powercolor Radeon HD 7970 3GB:

This is what I call a "I'm a fanboy, bend me over and give it to me hard!" kind of question. LOL

The price of a 780 was just reduced by $150 in the past 2-3 weeks. Doubt you'll see it fall anymore for quite awhile unless you find one on sale.

The 7970 beats the gtx 770 in most games, except some like Tomb Raider (which is odd because it is an AMD gaming evolved game I believe) so I would go with that, however powercolor isn't that good a company. I'd get a sapphire one, or an MSI one.

ok thanks is there any other AMD card that are better than that?

Powercolor isn't that bad, I've used Powercolor before and I would be using it right now if Gigabyte wasn't selling overclocked HD 7970s for the same price as a normal Powercolor HD 7970 when I bought my 7970s. I honestly couldn't care less what brand a card is, as long as it works and the price is right. There are two cards that are from AMD and are better than the HD 7970. They are the R9-290 at $400 which is comparable to the GTX 780 and the R9-290X at $550 which is comparable to the GTX 780 Ti and GTX TITAN. The HD 7970 is the same card as the new R9-280X.
