Hey guys, I decided to upgrade my PC this year for the holidays, and I purchased a SeaSonic M12II 620W PSU a couple days ago. The problem is that I've been eyeing the Asus R9 280x and was about to pull the trigger when I saw that it has a recommended PSU Wattage of around 700W. Would I be able to use the 280x with my SeaSonic PSU? Or should I return it for one with a higher wattage? Here's a link to my build if you need it:

All help is appreciated, thanks a lot!

No actually I think a 500W or 550W would be able to handle it perfectly. You should check your nearest tech store though

Clicking on the link the recommended wattage is 468, considering also that the recommended wattage for the new R9 cards are ~250 you should be fine.

AMD R9-280X - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit. You are fine.
