First gaming PC build

I was planning on building a new gaming pc and I used the pcpartpicker website, was wondering if other parts would work better or cheaper for the same performance, budget is about 1000.

Change the PSu to antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic and you are good to go.

You need 2 memory sticks to run dual channel. So go 2X8gb, everything else looks good.

If you count games packed with the Product as a discount then the GTX 770 has -$180 coupon because of the new games attached by Nvidia.

I would not recommend Wifi as it tends to have poor connection that is needed in gaming.
Otherwise it is a good build. If you want to have a bit more power go for $20 more and get an i5-4670.

This uses a low end motherboard and OP never said he needed a mini-itx build.

The RAM is cheap and slow and single channel so that is a no-go.

The PSu is not great. The Corsair CX line is not the best. Change it for an XFX550.

gtx 770 doesn't come with games anymore where I've looked, the ones that do seem to be 500 and up...

Also what does dual channel do? Really not sure about this, thought 8 gb was enough for gaming.

8gb is more than enough for gaming. 16gb is pointless. Get 2x4gb RAM. Dual channel is slightly faster than a single stick.
