I recently built my own computer. Without a graphics card. I have a Corsair CX750M power supply. Shortly after my father accidentally threw away my power supply box that had the cable in it. I was going to use that cable to connect my GTX 780 to my power supply. I have received two cables with the graphics card also. I am wondering what cable do I have to buy to connect my graphics card to my power supply. A link to the product would help greatly. Thank you

For the 780 you will need two cables. A 6-pin to 6-pin (male to male) cable, and 6-pin to 8-pin (male to male) cable. The bad news is that you will be extremely lucky to find any online or at any store. The reason for that is because companies that produce PSUs will never realise any individual spare cabling for selling. As weird as it sounds, that is how that industry works. If you could find any from a friend of yours would be a solution. Otherwise talk with your power supply's manufacturer..

Hope this helps!

P.S. You can otherwise connect your GPU using the molex cables. If you don't have them as well, you can find on ebay.

uhm, you mentioned you recieved 2 cables with your GPU... I do believe these are the adapters your looking for, and you should only need to use 1 of them.

***It is STRONGLY advised not to connect your GPU to a PSU with insufficient cables... Especially a 780.***

Make sure its enough to power a 780 if you do go this way

Yes they are the adapter cables, so now do I just need a longer cable to connect those to my PSU?

You can get a new set of cables from corsairs web store, in funky colours!
http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/psu-access...
just select the CXM series from the right and pick a colour
like white

This cable says its only compatible with all SilverStone modular PSU released after 2009. Do you think it would work with my Corsair power supply?

take a good look at the blue connector on that cable, compare it to the socket on your psu. If it matches, it might work.

If they match, I would need two correct?

hmm yes... so you'd be paying $16 (+shipping) for 2 cables that might work, or $27 for the whole set straight from corsair that is quaranteed to work. And then when you'll need some other cable for a new HDD or something you'd need to hunt for a new cable again and pay for it and shipping...

just get the full set from corsair, safer, easier and you get all the cables you could ever need...

+1 to Kari's suggestion, the full set would also probably be cheaper in the long-term.
