Is it safe to change to a AMD GPU when it used a Nvidia GPU?

I am wanting to change my computers graphics card to a AMD Radeon HD 7750 low profile card, from a Nvidia GT 620 low profile card that came with the computer.

If I leave the Nvidia Drivers in the card, and install the AMD for the new GPU, will they collide? Is it safe to leave the Nvidia one in? Because I don't have a driver disk for the Nvidia one, if I uninstall its driver for the AMD one.

As long as you uninstall the old drivers, you won't have an issue.

Ok, thanks, just one more thing, I have a un-upgradable PSU of 220W, will I have trouble with it? People say it will work as the HD 7750 Low Profile consumes little power.

That is less than half of the recommended wattage. You can try it, but if it cannot power it, you will experience driver crashes, blue screens or shut downs. You will notice in the link that the minimum required amperage on the positive 12 volt rail is 16A. This is as important as watts. If your CPU uses a lot of watts to begin with, chances are you won't be able to run the 7750. On the same link, you will see that the GT 620 requires much less watts at 350W but more amps at 20A. The amps is good news since your PSU should have at least that to power the 640 it is running at the moment. If you can't replace the PSU, you are taking a chance by getting a card that might not work right.

In the list, there is nothing about the HD 7750 Low Profile
version, people say that consumes the lesser watts then the Normal sized one.

Why do you say it is un-upgradable?

220W should be JUST ENOUGH to run a 7750.
