Recently my motherboard, the P8Z77-I Deluxe broke down.
I took it in to get a replacement, but they have to ship it in from overseas. This can apparently take up to 2 months, because they have stopped supplying them or something.

Anyways, want to know if I can simply buy a new motherboard that is not the P8Z77-I Deluxe, and install the new drivers for it or something and it will continue working.

If any additional details are required I am happy to answer.

Solution
it will, just put it in, remove the video card if you have one, update the BIOS, put the card back in, and you are good to go.
keep your previous CPU, it is the same LGA 1155 chipset.

Alright, and if I were to put one of those in, would my computer continue working as normal with the installation of new drivers for them, or would I have to reinstall/ buy a new processor?
