I would like to know how can i reset my password of toshiba 3.0 USB external hard disk?
I think I forget my password. Now I cannot able to assess to my device. If anyone there know, how to solve my problem. Please just drop me an idea for me. I would highly appreciate your kind consideration.

Reformat. Obviously, you will lose any data on the drive.

Well it depends on your operating system but if you have Windows 7, open computer icon, right click on the hard drive, and select format. This will wipe all data from the hard drive.

Some Toshiba's use a level of encryption that will not allow you to do anything with the drive , format included, without the old password. We will not help you with that and suggest you contact Toshiba.
