Ivy bridge on a 2nd generation mobo

Does Asus P8H61-M LX B3 support third generation I series processors? cause I heared from somewhere that H61 is an 1155 socket meant for 2nd and 3rd gen series.

    I always google first & If I can't find it I post on here & the link of the mobo you posted is a differnt mobo ''P8H61-M LX B3'' & the one you posted is ''P8H61-M LX R2.0''

    According to the CPU Support list, various 3rd generation CPUs are supported after certain BIOS versions. So, if your board has the latest BIOS revision (4404) it should support all third generation (Ivy Bridge) Intel processors.
