Recommend silent cooler for socket 1155 with tall memory modules

Hello everyone,

I have an intel i7 3770 (socket 1155, TDP 77W) with 4x4gb corsair vengeance tall memory modules. They are in a medium sized case. The stock cooler is somewhat loud and I want a quiet replacement, but something that will fit in the case taking into account the tall memory modules. I want something to just install and forget i.e. no custom stuff, maintenance etc.

EDIT: $70 max.

@Dragoic: sorry, I should have mentioned that. Not anything really expensive (edited original post).

@DragonChase: their webpage says "...should be used with care on CPUs with more than 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power)."

I am guessing that is a warning refering to the silence converter (the little cable for the CPU).

Check out youtube if you want to be sure, 3770k L9i, tons of videos and articles.

i got it installed on my 4770k!, i am very satisfied with the lower temps and sound (mainly why i got it).

That's good to hear. You know this fan had caught my eye a few days ago when I started my research. I read in a review that it performs good with 3770k's standard speeds (and I'm not an overclocker).

Sure why not go with it! i came to the same cooler eventually, its really not that bad for the price!. For the same price you get absolutly Rubbish.

Keeping in my sounds this one became my choice quickly.
