Specifically these:

http://www.amazon.com/SeaSonic-550-Watt-CrossFire-Certi...

Gigabyte recommends at least 600W. The PSU is good, but the (OC) 280X can peak out at quite high levels. The rest of the components:

i5 4670
7200 rpm and SSD
Basic fans that come with Fractal R4

I've read that yes, it's enough, but I can get a 650W PSU for almost the same price and 650W would be more future-proofed. No overclocking will be done. So, opinions?

Absolutely fine. Those recommended values are massively overkill, because there are PSUs that can't handle rated wattage, plus there are CPUs like i7-3970X. They're trying to avoid being sued.

There's not a lot of point in getting a Gold PSU, though. One of these will perform just fine and cost a lot less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
