Connect PC to 40" LED TV

I wanna connect my PC (using Gigabyte H61M-S2P-B3 with 4 GB Ram and intel i5) to a 40" LED TV.

Do i need a seperate graphics card or can i connect directly thru pc input slot?

If your TV has the standard VGA connection, then all you will need is a VGA cable. If not, you can purchase an adapter. You can also purchase a GPU if you want but that's not necessary.

ok ok so all i need is a VGA to HDMI adapter is my tv doesnt hav a VGA input..?

I read similar posts and they all say converters dont work.. so lets say just to be safe i get a GPU with an HDMI port.. should dat work the same? if yes can u recommend some inexpensive ones
