So I recently purchased the Corsair HX750 PSU to be used with my Asus P8P67 Deluxe Rev. 3.0 motherboard, but my system will not power on with this PSU. The board is getting power and then losing it, causing the Power and Reset buttons on the board to continually turn on and off.

My old PSU still powers on the system. I have also tested the Corsair in a different computer and it powers on that computer perfectly fine. So I am wondering if there is some kind of compatibility issue between this power supply and my board. At first I thought it had something to do with the Corsair no longer using pin 20 but I have since seen a good amount of people using this board with power supplies that do not have pin 20, so I don't think that is the issue. I tried clearing the CMOS just in case the system was polling for some voltage ranges that the new PSU was not meeting. I will be testing the Corsair in a little while with a multimeter to see if it is in spec, but I am imaging that it will come back fine as it is working in another system.

Any suggestions are greatly welcomed as I am going insane that I can't get this thing to work!

I checked about a million times as it was the most reasonable explanation to me. And the CPU power was connected, but even with just the 24 pin connected to the board the Power and Reset buttons on the board will receive power and light up soild, which they are failing to do.

Did you try to start it without the case wires ? Remove the case wires from the motherboard panel and with a screwdriver touch the - and + wires of the power pins on the motherboard front connection panel (make the screwdriver a contact between the two pins). See if it does start as it should or does it act weird again.

I did have the case wired removed from the board as I had the mobo out on a cardboard box to make sure that there wasn't a short being caused by my case. But even then the board was only getting power for about 1 second at a time, so it could't start up.

I am currently using a different one to run the machine. With that said though, the Corsair PSU works fine in another machine. I have asked Corsair if they know of any compatibility issues between these two components, so hopefully they can provide me with some help.
