Hi I'm going to build my own pc and have decided on every part except the mobo , I'd like to no if there is really any difference between all the mobo types and if I can really go wrong?

I'll be using it with an intel i5 4670k , and a gtx 780ti with 8gb of ram at 1600mhz with maybe upgrading to 16gb later on ...

Any help would be appreciated and I'm looking to spend about £100/125 dollars

If you are planning to overclock the system it does make a difference as you need to buy one that allows you to do this (I'm not sure that an OC capable board is within our price point). Other than that there is little difference between MoBos other than their appearance. I've done builds with both ASUS and Gigabyte MoBos and have never encountered any issues other than a failed DVI output on a Gigabyte mITX.
