When I was playing Driver:San Francisco it stopped and said: Disk cannot be read and after clicking "A" the screen went black and the Power button turned red.
I opened the disk tray, checked the disk and it seemed fine!
But just to make sure:I put some SCRATCH OFF!
on it,plopped it back in played fine then BAM!Same message and same light.
Did research on anything that might fix it: Re-install game updates,Re-install Xbox updates and clear cache. And none of them worked!
PLEASE HELP

It's entirely possible that the disc has bought the farm. Have you tried installing the game to the HDD?Do other game discs work? At any rate, maybe you could try that disc on a friend's xbox, just to check that it indeed is dead.

I only had one friend who has a Xbox 360 and he moved to Idaho two months ago.
I tried to install the game, but at 58% it said that the disk needed to be cleaned, but once more:Cleaned it,checked it.It seemed fine.

I would say either CD is failing or that the disc drive reader mechanism is failing. I can't confirm which, though. You did mention other games play fine from the disc. Tell you what, don't attempt to play this particular game for a couple of days.Play anything else you want during these few days.If everything else work without any hiccups, then your physical disc itself is wonky.

Well,it's probably the disk drive 'cause when I was playing now: two more games didn't work,Kinect Adventures and Command & Conquer:Kane's Wrath

That's a shame. Any place where you can get it repaired?

I don't really know any place that WILL repair it,but I'm thinking Best Buy might do the job.
