It's not my PSU. It's a friends but I know it's 220 - 240w. It's a slimline PC, I'm not an idiot.

It doesn't matter anyway, he's moving the components to a larger case which can fit an okay GPU (9800 GT) and a better PSU (650W)
 


U are definitely reading the label wrong because wattages are never mentioned in ranges but voltages are. Maybe u could post a picture of your label side of the PSU like this

He may be just estimating the power, saying it's around 220-240 watts which is about the standard for a small form off the shelf system. But you were right that it could also be the Voltage as that is 220 OR 240 switchable hehe.

The odd thing is that for some reason his friend is picking out some old cards, which even used are close to the price of a new 6670 which is faster than any of those and will run on less power.
