Hi, I would like to replace my gtx630 (which runs off the board) for a new card but my psu only seems to have one spare 4 pin molex. Most the cards I am looking at (gtx 660ti) have a six pin power connector BUT that seems to plug into two molex's. Is there a decent card that I can use (a mid range gpu) with one spare molex or a card that runs straight off the motherboard like my gtx630 as I don't want to be messing about putting in a new psu. I have a 500 watt psu. Thanks

What brand 500W PSU? You really don't want a crap one.

buy the gtx 660 ti and use the 4-pin molex to 6 pin pcie power adapter...

Not good advice if it's a crap PSU that can't output rated load. Which is common for cheap ones.

I know my psu is rubbish, it's a RoSH ATX 500 B

I only paid £180 (about $250 u.s for the whole rig... 4 gb, G645 cpu) but I was looking for a cheap replacement as I knacked up a DIMM slot on my other pc and was only running on 2gb.

I was just looking for a quick replacement. I picked this up as the motherboard is a LGA1155 slot, so thought I might put an i5 in there and 8gb memory (which would suit me for a year or two) and save cash till DDR4 cpu's come out. I might have to change the psu but never done that before.

As far as I can tell you need two molex to connect the 6pin to, I only have one spare molex.

Changing a PSU is pretty easy - unscrew the old one, pull out a couple of cables, screw the new one in, plug a couple of cables back in.

Don't keep your existing one; it's a fire hazard.

Yeah I think you're right.
And I found a molex splitter that connects to the one socket I have and has three female sockets on the end of it, this will remedy the problem I have with only having one molex spare but bit afraid to mess about to much with the psu I have, so think I might remove it and replace with a better psu (look at a 80+ bronze 550watt).
Cheers!!
