My LGA 1366 setup died... funeral is soon..

Anyway I have 2 GTX 660's
4 x 2gb Geil Performance RAM pins. (had one extra that I never used in the LGA 1366)

Now I'm looking at the MSI motherboard due to the price. As you can see I want a decent SLI motherboard due to my graphics cards. Also I will upgrade them within a year or two. I would love an Asus ROG board but they are rather expensive.

My other option is gigabyte.

Anyway.

I would just like to get an opinion on this board. Maybe someone who has it. Any good or are there better options for the same/similar/better Price?

Oh and I'm going for the 4770k because the price difference between that and the i5 4670 is very small. ( I live in South Africa )

The small board limits the Pci-e slots that you have so if your not doing two video cards the Maximus VI Gene would be a good choice, but if you need or want the extra Pci-e slots then stick with the MSI board.

The MSI board is a very decent board and has many features that are attractive, naturally as you said the Asus Rog boards are better but you have to go with what you can afford. I would overclock in the bios as the overclock Genie may not be the best. I had a MSI board and the Genie didn't work at all so I just overclocked in the Bios. Killer Nic and Sound Blaster along with Military Class components make for a good board.

Thanks for the response. I might be able to get the http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_GENE/ for a similar price though. Which do you recommend? I don't know why but I'm not a huge fan of small boards. But I guess it doesn't matter.
