Hey guys, I will be building my first build by the end of the month, which card would you guys recommend? Price is not an issue so far. I just want the one that has the best performance while maintaining the temperatures as low as possible.

Also, would my ASUS Sabertooth support either one of the two? I'm going to purchase a Cooler Master Storm Trooper as my case, would it fit?

Solutions/Recommendations?

Much love to the community!

Well look at the specs of the two cards. The higher the better. Both ASUS and Gigabyte are top brands so you won't have a problem. I personally tend towards the Gigabyte one, mainly due to the tri-fan config. Also they are very good for overclocking. The Saebrtooth motherboard will indeed support the GTX770. And yes your case will have enough room for the GTX770.

Hope this helps!

you need to be more specific about the motherboard you have, is it an intel chipset or AMD? Also what is your CPU? picking a card which is a high performer could result in your CPU (unknown at this point) bottle-necking your GPU.

If you are with AMD then choose an AMD card such as the new R9 series, the R9 280X is a damn good card (I would go with the MSI version here)

otherwise if you are with intel then get an NVidia card such as the 770 or 780. The 770 is a good card which performs almsot the same as the 280X

If you have the money though you could get the 780ti (Which is a badass graphics card)

all these graphics card will fit in the Cooler Master Storm Trooper

If you are buying a 280X you should only consider Sapphire's TOXIC.

I never really noticed sapphire's version. Looks a nice card!

Both of your contributions are essential. I highly appreciate the replies. I've tried AMD's Graphics Cards and I had a lot of issues with the drivers when I was updating them.

Intel would be my obvious choice. A Core i5 4670 to be precise, I won't do overclocking as I'm afraid that it would increase the temperature in my Graphics Card, but, I would overclock if I'm not getting enough FPS in games.

ASUS is the coolest but not the highest clock speeds while GIGABYTE has the highest but not the coolest. Still stuck in between these two. :(

770 is a good partner I say. I can understand that you are adamant that your GPU remains cool but remember they are designed to run hot. To try reduce the temperature, include a bottom intake fan or you can get this for your new GPU (if it is the 770 or 780 you can get THIS

Sadly, I live outside of the US so in my country, nobody sells any VGA coolers. I've checked everywhere and found nothing. So, it all depends on the card now, really.
