Hi,
I'm from India. I keep interest in gaming & vfx editing.
My PC Info is given below :-
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz (http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/7141/veim.png)
OS - Win7 64-Bit
MoBo - Intel DG41RQ (http://ark.intel.com/products/39683/Intel-Desktop-Board...)
Expansion Options in Motherboard
PCI Support - 2
PCIe x1 Gen 2.x - 0
PCIe x4 Gen 2.x - 0
PCIe x8 Gen 2.x - 0
PCIe x16 Gen 2.x - 1
Graphics Specifications
Integrated Graphics ‡ Yes
Graphics Output VGA
Discrete Graphics PCIe x16
Current GPU - Galaxy Geforce Nvidia 9500gt - DDR3 512mb 128bit PCI-e (http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/707/vand.png)d
RAM - 4GB DDR2 2x2GB (http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6770/79dn.png)
PSU - iBall PPS - 255 (250Watts) (230 VAC 50 / 60 Hz) (http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/196/76dp.png)
Monitor (Generic PnP) - Samsung Sync Master - 1360x768 (32bit - Current Display) (60Hz)
I'm posting this thread in this section because my GPU is weak and i think it has more priority over the other two items which i want to purchase.
I am having FPS issues while Gaming with Fraps(video&audio recording software), also while using Adobe After Effects & Sony Vegas without fraps(generally they lag if i load some okish edited clip with effects in it and play it). I don't wanna upgrade my MoBo & Processor at the moment. I've got 3 options 1) GPU 2) RAM 3) SSD (or you can suggest me something if its not listed and can make my pc lag free)
Why SSD? cause i've heard that SSD, if used as C Drive(main drive) and HDD for the rest of the drives as storage, then it can improve performance of your pc greatly, but i'm not sure how it works exactly and whether it could overpower GPU and RAM in terms of FPS lag. But since my GPU and even RAM is not good enough i'm not sure what to go for cause my budget is 100-130$ only and i'm not planning to buy a brand new PC for the next 1.5-2years.
I would like to know whats the best in terms of RAM & GPU or SSD(if it > RAM stack or GPU then yes) which is supported by my MoBo.
Please understand that i don't want to purchase anything extra special, i just want to upgrade my PC to the maximum supported RAM & GPU or SSD by my motherboard which can greatly increase performance of the above listed softwares. I wont be buying extra stuff just for my next motherboard so suggest me the best stuff supported by DG41RQ only.
Please tell me what i should purchase and why?
Thanks!

Any PCI Express v16 video card should work.
If it's v1.0 PCI Express instead of v1.1 (the motherboard) you might need to be a bit careful.
Your power supply unit is going to limit your Video Card, and thus GPU, choices a lot more than your motherboard (typically).
A Radeon HD7790 would be suitable for that computer, maybe HD7870 (tops).
Go higher if you want to keep the Graphics Card for newer parts in future, but I doubt you'll see much benefit past a HD7870.

Power Supply Unit is iBall PPS - 255 (230 VAC 50 / 60 Hz)
Not sure about Watts. Its not written on the packing box, bill and SMPS itself. If there is some software to determine these details please link me to it.
My previous PSU purchase was JSW-252 Model LPE223-400 which was 3-5$ cheaper than the current one.

@talktoarnab I understand bro but it wasn't written on the Bill, Box Cover & the Product i had checked it all. I just posted the details cause i thought there may be some way to find out the Watts from the full image of AC Input & DC output.
@chimera201 I got their number and i had called their customer support to find out the Watts of PPS-255 Model and they told me its 250W. Each iBall model has fixed Watts, for 450-600W(their high end PSUs) model names always have Sprinter in them.

Yes that is what i want, though it was blurry. That 9500GT must have underperformed. How many years did u use it? How much time was it on load(gaming). The max u can go with this PSU is the HD 7750. It won't perform at its best since it won't be getting enough power.
Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 Rs. 7500
If u want a higher GPU u will need a decent PSU. Even this one would underperform

HD 7750, which is fairly good for gaming, as suggested by Chimera201 earlier requires at least 450W of PSU. You can also get GTX650 is almost at par with it but will require a 6pin connector, if you are willing spend a few more you can get HD7770,Lots of better options of you can spend higher, but first of all you need to change your PSU.. 250 W is not enough these days....

My board supports PCI-E 2.0 and my budget needs to have the PSU aswell those which you suggested will get me the GPU only even if i wait for some days. Shall i go for cheap psu like this? http://www.flipkart.com/zebronic-zeb-450w-450-watts-psu... OR http://www.flipkart.com/zebronic-zeb-450-gold-450-watts...

Yeah but if i think of the current gpu and psu its like spending for nothing since ill buy a new pc after 1-1.5yrs. Please suggest me GPU+PSU or RAM+PSU(4GB RAM + 350W PSU) under 6k INR for the current system which are compitable and will help me at FPS. I will be purchasing them this week.

1) GPU, as you already have 4GB RAM and a E7500 I can safely assume that you're not running games that require MORE than a E7500.
2) Going over 4GB RAM with a 9500GT when trying to game is pointless.
3) The SSD won't help in games, they load as much data into RAM as possible prior to the 'level' rendering, after that they read very little data.
In relation to (3) I would suggest checking that you are using the Intel Corp. SATA AHCI driver instead of the Microsoft one, as the Microsoft one is for 'Office use' (it's a generic Intel compatible SATA AHCI driver) and does not provide the best possible performance that an DG41RQ motherboard can deliver.

Upgrading RAM will provide very little performance benefit almost negligible
6000 Rs. for psu and gpu!!!!
Man u certainly don't know what a gaming pc is. In a gaming build the cost of gpu is usually twice that of the cpu. If u are ready to throw it away(gpu and psu) after 2 years then here is a suggestion
Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6570 1 GB DDR3 Rs. 4550
Corsair VS350 Rs. 1921
I should say it is really pathetic although there will be a noticeable increase in performance
P.S. : Zebronics PSUs are crap

Yes, i don't play the currently released games. I keep interest in old games which don't require quality but they do require performance and FPS is a big issue because when team fights take place the packets sent are 100-200times more than the normal packets. I got you and special thanks for suggesting me the Intel Corp. AHCI SATA Driver as i had completely forgotten to update my driver since past two main drive pc formats.

Bro, I don't play games just for graphics. I play only those chosen games which have teamplay and which are quite old now. My average FPS with fraps while recording is 45 and goes to 25 at intense fights(with all good performance settings and external softwares) i just want to make sure it always stays above 55+ normally while recording and i won't mind if it drops to 45. Just for this i can't prepone my new pc. I hope you understand.
So, if its the best idea to go for GPU+PSU(Instead of RAM+ 350W PSU)which you've suggested. I will go for it and finalize what i need to purchase. If you got any other options on the GPUs do let me know.
Thanks for guiding me!
