Hello,
I am going to buy a new GPU, here two possibles choices:
I like so much the EVGA one because my previous GPU (GTX 670 sig 2) was form this brand and I have recently seen a GTX 770 SC ACX, in my friend's rig. I absolutely love that black 'n gold design and the ACX cooler is very silent.
[strike]However the cheaper store for me is the official EVGA store for € 549,49. Local store have not upgraded their prices after 780 Ti come out, so it still cost about 690 €, which is crazy :([/strike] The cheapest price now is € 507,80 (local store)

Talking about the Gigabyte one I am reading good review about the GHZ Edition of GTX 780, which also have a little bit higher clock. I can get this card on a local store, for about € 444.
I've never had a Gigabyte so I'm unsure.

My doubt is about the three fan vs the two of EVGA: which card has better cooling / less loud?
I've searched for a comparison review for these two but I didn't found anything. I obviously found single review of each GPU, but I think that different system / test result in different values in term of temperatures, fps, and noise.

The price difference [strike] € 549[/strike] € 507,80 vs € 444 is tempting me so much, but I a not sure.

Your help would be very appreciated :)

Thanks

I have the 770 version of that Gigabyte card and I can tell you that I cannot hear the thing in my case even under full load, so I wouldnt let the loudness affect your decision. It is an awesome card too, I have no regrets. :)

I can hear mine but they are very quiet.

So I got to play 2 rounds of BF4 before my power went out cuz of an ice storm in Maine, but from what I played it was amazing. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. With everything maxed and turned on I get around a solid 80 fps. The card isn't loud and it's very cool as well. I encourage you to go with the ghz edition, you won't be disappointed I promise. Unless you really want to do EVGA's step up program thing
