acer aspire 5250 re-configure help

I have obtained a acer aspire 5250 originally came with windows 7 installed on it, hard drive crashed and acer sent me a replacement HD with an OS...Installed new HD and loaded with windows vista, computer operates fine but have no wireless or LAN yes the OS disk i used was originally for a desk top by dell, so i new the drivers wouldnt work but i downloaded the original 5250 drivers for LAN and wireless and still not working, do I need to get drivers for a similar acer model that resembles the aspire 5250? that originally came w vista? if so what model would pertain the same components as a 5250 but originally ran vista?
any help would be appreciated

You will need to supply more information. They sent you a new hard drive -- does it have anything on it like a restore partition or is it just a new clean drive?

Why do you mention Windows Vista in your tags, did you install Vista on the Windows 7 machine?

You can easily reinstall Windows 7 by downloading a full Windows image of the same version that came on the machine (see your computer sticker for the version and the activation key) from HERE, burn it to a DVD, install the OS, install the drivers, windows updates and then activate with your key.
