I'm attempting to replacing motherboard without reinstalling Windows 7. I've been following this guide: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:1M7_gplLfXkJ:www.yentran.org/blog/2012/09/replacing-motherboard-without-reinstalling-windows/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca

The problem I have no idea what drivers I need to install using the offline method. I tried install a RAID and a chipset driver but that didn't work. Here is my computer setup:

M2N-SLI deluxe motherboard
500GB SATA hard drive with Windows 7 64 bit image

What drivers should I be installing? Should I install a RAID, IDE or ACHI driver? What chipset driver should I installing (disk, RAID or IDE)? Are these the only 2 drivers I need to boot up?

XP 64bit

I know you said you have Win7, however, have you attempted to install from WinXP64bit, all the drivers are listed there.. it doesnt hurt to try and see what happens. They are likely to work on Win7.

Let me know if it works.
