First off i have stable overclock at 3.7ghz that was done by overclockers.co.uk as this was a pre built system. I have a corsair H60 cooler, will that be sufficient to keep cpu cool at 4ghz?
I also have 6gb ddr3 1600mhz and gtx 770 and 650 watt psu.

Ok, so you're PSU checks out, Im assuming you have a reputable PSU, uhm, well the first thing to do is to monitor the heat inside of the CPU using something like a desktop gadget(my preference) You can then simply just run a program called Prime95, and put it on a 'BLEND' or the torture thing. And monitor the temps, typically if the temps raise and they level out like going up or down every couple seconds you got a stable clock, but, theres really no telling what results you'll get without just simply testing it out.. You must also keep in mind that you dont want to fry your CPU by miscalculating voltages..

Prime95 will most likely give you an illegal sumout error or a round up error if there is a voltage problem with the CPU, meaning...

Prime95 will most likely give you an illegal sumout error or a round up error if there is a voltage problem with the CPU, meaning you should bump the voltage up..(VOLTAGE Modification should only be done in your BIOS, and if you dont know how to get to the BIOS you should do some serious research) you should only increase the voltage by 0.005V or just up to the next notch only by ONE just to see what the bare minimum the CPU can take without an illegal sumout error.

This obviously would take a long time, but if you really want to work towards that 4 ghz clock.. It's worth it.. I honestly dont think an extra 300mhz would be that bad.. But, just give it a shot if you feel up to it.. Youtube and google are you're best friends with these things ^_^

Cool thanks for the advise. I have read a lot of guides threads etc. My main concern was my cooler corsair h60, if it would be up to the task!
