Adding another ram to my x3

So, I got 3x4gb Corsair Vengaence PC12800 ( CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9 )
I didn't realise they were made for triple channel at the time -.-
If I buy one more 4gb Corsair Vengaence PC12800, but ( CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 )
will they still work well together as If I just bought 4?

It should work. All the specifications are the same. Technical there is no reasonable explanation why it should not.

They "should" all work fine, the only issue is anytime you mix kits it is not guaranteed to work. usually with a few bios tweaks this can be ironed out, but there is no guarantee. So the simple answer is yes it should be fine, but no way to know for sure until you try it.

Thanks for the help guys, and IF it works, would they still work less effectively than if I use 2x dual channels ? or if they work, then they will work the way they should? thanks again.

If it works it will be 2x dual channels. All memory is capable of single,dual,tri, and quad channel setups, its the motherboard and number of sticks that determins which it runs at.
