MSI or ASUS R9 280x

I can't decide which of these cards to get.
ASUS of course seems like a better candidate but their customers support is literally non-exsistant or useless. So if I were to get a DOA card then I could possibly be out of luck on getting a proper RMA

The MSI card has a lower clock but has the probably the best cooler and is the quietest of the two. Their customer support is at least substantial so I can at least RMA it if it is DOA. Plus couldn't I just OC the MSI card to what the ASUS card has to offer?

So can you help me decide? I don't want a Sapphire because of it's outrageous price nor the gigabyte because it could turn out to be a bit noisy under load.

Not to mention isn't MSI software very prestigious? MSI afterburner for example

that's not the point... what if I buy the card? turns out the card is DOA? so when I try RMA through ASUS. I've read countless tickets where people would wait months and no reply and having them to buy from a different brand. I live in the Cayman Islands, I bought a logitech G27 took nearly a month to get here. What if I wait that long for my card, turns out to be DOA, so I'd have to ship it back(if I ever got an email back) and wait 2 more months to get the card back and hope that it's not DOA again.

OC Software isn't important in the sense that you can use any one of the softwares. For example, use Precision-X for overclocking my EVGA card but I can use Afterburner, etc etc.
As for the card, I suggest http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FT2S4BG/?tag=pcpapi-20 Asus. It's only $2 more than the MSI Gaming edition.

My apologies for not talking about the customer support. The link here is one person's favorable account of Asus's support. Other people say the support in NA is very good, but outside of North America it is pretty poor.
And i previously linked the incorrect link for the card. The one I linked was $342, and you are right there is one for $309 on Newegg which I had wanted to link.

I believe they are a great all-around company, producing quality cards each generation. They usually have a "podium finish" in terms of quality (top three).

I'd get the ASUS as they probably have a better warranty, but this all comes down to personal preference as they barely have a difference in terms of performance!
