Help Setting up Monitor

Hi, I'm trying to hook up my Sansui tv to my PC so it can work as a monitor, but all I get is a black screen, and when I unplug the tv from my PC it says no signal. Please help me!

I'm plugging the TV directly into my graphics card, the card is a GTX 650 if that helps at all. I'm using VGA. I am using the Sansui 19 inch LCD HDTV, here is the link: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sansui-19-Class-LCD-720p-60Hz-HDTV-HDLCD19WB/15127837

I have another monitor that works just fine. I don't know the model, but it is a Sony and it works at 1280 x 1024.

So this monitor works with the same VGA cable plugged into your graphics card? If so, then it's either a TV issue or a driver issue. Do you have a spare VGA cable so that we can test some stuff out?

I don't think I have another cable, but I should mention that I reduced the resolution to 1280 x 720 and 1024 x 768 but it still didn't work.
