AMD FX-6300
http://www.flipkart.com/amd-3-5-am3-fx-6-core-fx-6300-fd6300wmhkbox-processor/p/itmdz2whghfbfxnw

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga...P4F&icmpid=reco_pp_recoBundle_computer_tab1_2

Dynet 4GB DDR3 1333MHz( will buy it locally)

2 LED fans

Specs i already own and will use with this rig--

seagate barracuda 250gb hdd

sapphire amd hd 6670 1gb ddr3

Zebronics Antibiotic case

Zebronics 450W PSU

i'm having the following questions regarding this rig-

1. For how many years, is this rig(except gpu) is gonna serve running games on 1440x900 resolution?

2. If i don't overclock my cpu, is my 450w psu gonna be enough to run them?

3. if my 450w psu is not gonna be enough even if i don't overclock the cpu, of how much watts should i purchase, keeping that in mind that i'd be overclocking my cpu to 4.2GHz and upgrading my gpu later? (i'd prefer corsair or zebronics as only they are available locally for purchase and RMA)

4. is zebronics zeb-600w or zeb-500 platinum series would be good enough or corsair cx500 (i'm hell tight in budget)?

5. is stock cooler gonna be enough to o.c. amd fx 6300 to 4.2GHz at stable temperatures?

What do you mean "except gpu"? That's kind of important in a gaming build.

Wattage-wise, yes. But I wouldn't trust Zebronics with PSU. I would select from top brands like Seasonic, XFX, Antec, PC Power & Cooling, OCZ, and Corsair.

450W is rather low. I would advice at least 550W so you have some room to upgrade your GPU to something stronger.

Depends on how far you want to look ahead. Buying cheap components will cause you more nightmares, especially if you're buying a crappy PSU. It is the most important component in any build because it has the responsibility to power EVERY component. So a bad one can blow up and or fry other components when it dies. Do you want to risk replacing your entire build?

Stock air cooler is not recommended for overclocking.

It can handle it for a good amount of time. It depends on how picky you are. The higher your needs are, the more you will be upgrading to match the specifications of future games. I am not psychic and I don't know what's in store for games that will be released next year. So it's hard to give a definite answer on a time span on how long a build serves you.

And I already told you that the GPU will run your current setup fine, but it's not a reliable PSU and also cannot handle higher-end GPUs.

i'll buy a new branded and stable psu when i'll be upgrading my gpu and o.c.ing my cpu to 4.2ghz (after putting an after-market cooler on it).. but now, i'll only be able to purchase the listed components!! so i'd be running the cpu in stock speed..!

dude.. believe it or not.. i really appreciate your help..!!
the thing is, my budget allows me to buy only cpu, ram, mobo at the time... will my zeb-450w psu hold for now with this rig with no o.c.ed cpu? if does, for how long?

Last time: I don't know. A bad power supply can die at any point in time, and not only that, it can also kill (as in fry) other components that it is connected to. And since the PSU is connected to every component, there's a likely chance that most components die with it. Most common are motherboard and RAM.

But for as long as your power supply will hold, it will power up your build and I've said that a few times already.

Sorry, dude , just needed to be extra sure.. That zebronics 450W psu is powering my 211W intel dual core rig from 5 years.. So, after your explanation, i think it should run that 255W amd fx 6300 rig just fine!

So, i've decided that i'd wait more for the money in order to purchase the components along with a new stable psu.. is corsair cx600 good enough to handle overclocking cpu to 4.2ghz and gpu upgrade in future(probably nvidia)? can't buy seasonic, cooler master as RMA is not available in region!

According to me the PC is not at all good.

--> AMD 6670 is a very weak GPU. Better to go with an i3 3220 with a cheaper motherboard without overclocking.
--> That motheboard is not at all fit for overclocking, also I do not recommend anything less than a 970 chipset board for the FX series CPU.
--> That Zebronics PSU would simply burn out and it might damage your other components too.

Now the answers to your questions :

1. I cannot guarentee even more than a year just because the AMD 6670 is a very bad GPU for gaming. It is outdated and is not at all good for anything above 720p.

2. Yes, 450W should be enough, but I do not recommend that Zebronics PSU. It is really cheap and unrated. Hence it is like 99% likely to burn out or damage your components. You should always buy a good quality PSU.

3. Again 450W is good enough, but I do not recommend that PSU.

4. If you are really at budget then go for the Corsair VS series PSU, they are good enough for a very tight budget and fairly good quality.

5. No, stock cooler is not recommended for overclocking the CPU, especially if you live in India, where in North India temperatures go up to 45 degree celcius, like here in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

Another thing I would like to say is that just tell me your budget and I will plan a build for you for the budget. I would suggest something that is fine for your budget. So, please tell what is your budget.

I hope this helped.

i'll update the gpu in a few months.. dude.. people overclock amd fx8320 and 8350 with this mobo..
another update: i'll buy this ram with this rig.. not the dynet one!

http://www.flipkart.com/g-skill-ripjawsx-ddr3-4-gb-1-x-gb-pc-ram-f3-10666cl9s-4gbxl/p/itmd8ekfxnhgztyd?pid=RAMD8EKF97CEN3FY&ref=91d1e880-608d-4ce5-a649-07ca73dedb2d

That board I do not recommend for even the 8320 or 8350 at stock. Forget about overclocking them. Don't trust the reviews from Flipkart, they are mostly fake. Take my word for it, that board is not good for overclocking. Seriously believe me. It is for your good only.

Just believe me that this Motherboard is not at all good for overclocking. The reviews are lie. Seriously

Also get a better PSU, Zebronics PSU would surely damage some of your components in the long run. I can assure you that.

So, suggest me a good budget-friendly mobo which should have these things--
It should have sata3 6gbps headers, overclocking ability, should support and OC even amd fx8350, any dual gpu support and four ram slots which should support atleast 1833MHz and durable like concrete :p ...
I mentioned above that i'd be buying seasonic s12ii 520w 80+ bronze certified PSU!
