I upgraded to mobo ato asus m5a78l-m along with processor of Athlon. While I was trying dual monitor setup my system crashed, and refused to boot up again. It does not go past beyond welcome screen. Steps I have taken already :

1. Reinstalled windows 7*
2. Removed and replaced CMOS battery. Was showing 3v on multimeter.
3. Ran memtest86 and that showed no errors for ram.
4. Deleted system partition again and again. Normally formatted windows installation drive.
5. Of two HDDs I tried to install win 7 on different HDDs,
6. Reinstall bios using asus flash.

What happens is now windows is not even going into main setup.after finishing cd installation part, the screen is blank and that space bar keeps flashing on and off again. It does not even go into the second part of setup. post does detect both my hard drives.

Have even tried 64bit installation.Same result.

Any ideas as to what I should do. Maybe change Sata cables

Is it a MOBO issue?

Thanks in advance.
