Ever since I refreshed my XP Pro machine I am unable to connect or map the XP machine to my Windows 7 Pro laptop anymore. I use a static IP address for my machines so the mapped drive I assumed would reconnect. When I double click on the icon it shows the Windows Dialog box to log in. I enter my user name and password, but it just keeps prompting me.
If I open up windows explorer and type in \\192.168.2.105 I get the same dialog box and still unable to connect to the PC this way either. Anyone have a suggestion that could help me?
