So these are probably the components I will be getting, and I was just wondering if they were compatible... ALSO if you have something in mind that you think will do better please tell me

GPU : Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition
MOBO : ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77
CPU : i7-3770k (OCed at 3.90 GHz)
Memory : Corsair Veangeance 16GB DDR3 1600
PSU : Corsair HX1000w Power Supply (Honestly I dont even know why I chose a 1000w)
HDD : WD 1TB Caviar Black 7200RPM
SSD : Samsung 840 EVO-Series

I am also looking for a decent case (with good ventilation :D)
Thanks! :D

If you're goign to build a new computer now, why not just build a haswell rig (Z87 motherboard and I7 4770k its a bit faster and not much more expensive anymore, and its the newer tech)

everything else is fine

is a good case, but they are really about personal preference once you go above about $80 they are all decent jsut find one that you like the looks of and has enough fans for your liking

As for the 1000w power supply that is severly overkill for a no SLI build but its up to you, I'd go back to a 750W at most.
