How safe is it to Overclock a evga GTX 690?

It's usually pretty 'safe' to overclock graphics cards in general. Depending on how hard you run it, it might shorten the lifespan a little bit. The return on nvidia cards for oc is not that great, typically. Maybe several fps, but nothing noticeable in most cases.

Typically pretty safe, but, i would monitor temps when you do it just to see if it works and doesn't run it too hard, what makes it safe is that it is fairly easier to overclock than the CPU(more dangerous to OC)
