hey great tech ppl, i need help in determining my RAM's actual mhz speed.
on my ram stick(s) it says 2133mhz, although cpu-z says 667mhz as max bandwidth?
as far as i know both my cpu/motherboard should be capable of handling the 2133mhz.
i tried updating my bios to newest version, cause it stated something about better memory handling, although nothing has changed.
here is a picture of the tab's in cpu-z to shed some light on the matter.

so in short, i am pretty sure that im missing something along the way.

thanks alot in advance for taking the time to look at my topic : )

Solution
Okay next suggestion is raise the Dram Voltage to 1.60v (I think the 1.5v was a mistake when they coded the xmp on that stick badly on the timings too... no way a 2133 kit has a CL of 7) set the timings to 10-12-11-31 and see if that clears things up... no idea what is going on, but that XMP profile is flat wrong.

The only tab that matter's is the memory tab. It is currently running at 1333mzh (all memory defaults to 1333 or 1600) all you have to do is go into your bios and find XMP and enable it and it SHOULD just set itself to 2133 for you and all other settings required.

i just tried switching it to X.M.P, and it does indeed detect it as 2133mhz in bios. although it just goes to black screen when i save and resets, and when i turn it fully off and on again it says that my oc failed F1 for setup.
thx for the fast reply btw

that last part worked great : ), i just took a look at the physical stick itself and it actually says 9-11-10-30 on it, so dunno why the profile suggested otherwise? anyways i appreciate your help very much : ).

no worries, someone had some fat fingers when they keyed that part in I guess? Anyway glad you're up and running my timings were close but I would use those on the stick since they are a little tighter. I suspected it was a cl9 stick, but just wanted to make sure in case it was a CL10 that we got you booted up properly.
