fx -8350 oc to 4.6 under performing vs my 1090t 4.0

I recently installed an 8350 to replace my older 1090t. I have the 8350 at a stable 4.6 overclock but it seems as if my old 1090t is beating it in gaming every game just seems to be down a tiny bit and firestrike went from almost 11000 to barely 10000. I am just trying to see if anyone has heard of this underperforming when this high over clocked.

I get 90-120 avg FPS in the single threaded games I play with my 8320 @ 3.7...

I wouldn't call that sucking, it's already overkill. :p

8350 is not a gaming cpu to be clear.... its a preformance/pudget cpu gaming preformance varies for it as its really shiny in some new games like metro and bf4

as for another games yet its kinda bad since its single cores are weak ... but combinded together they are really something huge

i got one my self and im getting 60 fps stable at metro ll without ocing it

8350 + Hd 7790 at 1400x900 screen

I am very aware of what the chip is i am getting 60 fps in 1080p on ultra 4x msaa in far cry 3 but i was getting that with my 1090t which at worst this chip should be about 10% better single thread and almost 40% multi thread. I am trying to find out if anyone has had similar issues and if there is a way toi adjust it.

I think that there may be an issue with 3DMark not being able to "read" the piledriver architecture properly. I recently upgraded to an FX-8350 from a Phenom II X4 965. Now, the 965 is clocked at 3.4GHz while the 1090T is clocked at 3.2GHz. I can feel a noticeable difference between the two. The FX-8350 is significantly faster than my Phenom II X4 965. Since the 965 would have been faster than the 1090T in single-threaded apps by virtue of its higher clock, the fact that the FX-8350 feels faster than the 965 means it's for sure faster than the 1090T.
