I need a microphone and I've come to the conclusion of either of these fine mics. Only problem is...Which one? And the blue yeti is out of my price range, so that isn't a option for me...

For commentary I think you could rule out the snowflake and go mic I mentioned. I have no experience with those mic recommendations for video casting or commentaries so I can't make a solid suggestion.

I can, however, suggest another mic that fits the price range you're looking in to. Give the samson meteor mic a search. When I was choosing a desk mic I've seen many comparison between the meteor mic and blue snowball and eventually opted for the meteor mic due to size constraints.

Well, from the YouTube videos I've seen the AT2020 gives you better audio quality. The only downside is, it doesn't have as many features/settings as the snowball. I could use the extra money from the snowball for other things, though...

Do you know of any microphones that provide the audio quality of a Yeti/AT2020 and provide the features of a Snowball/Yeti in this price range?
