Hello,

I have the MSI GE60 2OE. I had an idea and I'm not sure this gonna work.
My idea is to create 3 partitions on my hard disk. First one for the windows second for my DATA and the third for installing games on it so when I format the windows partition the "gaming partition" won't be formatted so I will not re-install all the games.
Are the games still playable after i formatted the windows partition?

Solution
no they are not. games install dll files, registry files, etc, all that have to be installed again if you reinstall windows, so making a gaming partition is pointless as you still have to reinstall.

personal files, yes, I keep all my docs, pics, etc on another partition. in case the os crashes, it's easy to reinstall and have your files there without having to pull out the hard drive and copy stuff off to another pc.
