Budget gaming pc

Solution
the build is good. i would go for the hd 7870 personally due to the cost. its $40 cheaper and performs just as well as the r9 270x. if you want to go higher on the price go with hd7970 it has more shader cores and is about $11 more than the r9.

This build is stronger and cheaper, just throw in a cooler if you want to overclock

This build is just as good but only cost $588 in the end and isnt much different from the one above ^^

If you really want to cheap out but still have just as bad ass of a pc, take the FX -8320 and make it a 6300.

The 8320 wont make much of a difference. You're looking at an awesome computer for $560.

Have on mind that config which you see in my description is having slight issues with most recent games on ultra settings at 1080p. This is at least what you need, I would say bottom line for decent gameplay.

Just saying that he should focus on that. If he go for Intel solution I guess that he can achieve even better performance if he doesnt need multithreading and so on. My config is not pure gaming cpu even though I wanted that but prices might changed since then.
