I want to buy a Lenovo Flex 15. It comes with a 4th gen i7-4500U, 8GB memory, 500GB HDD etc. which I want. However, it does not come with a dedicated graphics card. It has built in Intel HD graphics 4400. I would like to know if this will really affect the performance in any way.

I do not usually play too many graphic-oriented games (Counter Strike, Age of Empires 2, Cricket 07 are some of the games I play). The kind of multitasking I generally do is 10-15 tabs in Chrome, 2-3 PDFs, 2-3 Word docs, an Ubuntu VM occasionally.

Can anybody please help me regarding this?
Thanks.

Edit : Would I need a graphics card for anything other than gaming? My current Lenovo G550 with Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset is good enough for these games and for playing 720p movies.

You should have no problems playing the games you want to play at medium settings. Alternatively you could buy a Gaming Laptop for around the same budget. The 4400 HD Graphics can actually play Skyrim at Low and Medium at 35~48 FPS.

Those are pretty old games and not very demanding; even when they were initially released. The Intel HD 4400 should have no problems with those games.
