I want to buy a gaming laptop but I don't know much about the specs and stuff. I need a gaming laptop that is capable of recording games at 30 fps. I was looking at one laptop but I don't know if its good enough. if its not could you recommend one to me at that price please..

Good gaming laptops are tough to come by without going down the Alienware route. Don't get me wrong, they're fun to look at, but they're overly expensive. When it comes to a good laptop for me, I typically try to stick with a laptop that has a higher end AMD processor. AMD is known for their APU's, which is a CPU and GPU in one. Also a good amount of RAM is needed, 8gb's of RAM is perfect for gaming.
The laptop you're looking at has a higher end processor and the perfect amount of RAM, but keep looking man, there's always more out there.

Actually I take back what I just said. I was doing some research on the laptop that you're looking at, and I think that laptop would be absolutely perfect for what you're looking for. Like I said, keep your eyes peeled for other laptops, but I think that one is exactly what you're looking for.

ok thanks very much would you say its good enough to record bf4 and minecraft on medium at 30 fps??

You should be okay with Minecraft, although recording games really does take your frames down a good bit. As far as Battlefield 4 goes, you'll probably have trouble running it on medium in the first place, you'd need a more equipped laptop. The ASUS Republic of Gamers laptops are amazing in my opinion. They're a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Take a look at those laptops too.

ok I will look at them... i only have a certain budget at the moment do you think i should wait and get a desktop from like pc world or build my own... Im not a massive fan of the building your own pc thing... what would you reccomend

Honestly, building your own desktop really isn't that hard, I've built 11 or 12. There's lots of ways to screw it up, but there's also a ton of tutorials on how to do it. Building one yourself is also a boatload cheaper and it's fun to put them together, or at least I think it is. But if you don't want to build it and still want that low price range, go to either Cyberpower or iBuypower. You can pick out the parts you want and they build it for you.

After looking at lots of gaming laptops and pc's a gaming pc seems the best option. could you link some gaming pc's with graphics cards capable of recording with fraps at 30 fps minimum please.
