Am moving my business from my desktop to my laptop so I want to connect a Lenovo X301 laptop [64 bit running Win 7] to my Acer flat screen monitor so that I can use the laptop when I am in my office. The laptop has VGA and Display Ports. The Acer monitor has a DVI-D In port. Which connection will produce better results? VGA to DVI-D or DP to DVI-D and what cables to I need?
