1.65v ram ivy

is it safe? my ram is at 1.5v 1333speed and i want it higher, but then it goes to 1.65v, is this safe with an ivy i5 3570k?

do a search on Google for "ivy bridge max memory voltage" and look at all the returns. Most say 1.575 is max voltage on an ivy bridge.

They have faster ram at 1.5v If your looking to overclock thats a different story.

If spec is for 1866 or above run at spec 1.65 and spec freq, while many buy and use 1.65 sticks they are gradually getting them out of the inventory - Kingston and Corsair continue to offer sets of 1600 at 1.65, I myself won't use 1.65 for anything under 2133..I doubt it will hurt your CPU, but 1.65 is just to much for entry level 1600/9 sticks
