My Acer laptop seems to be in a default mode for "work offline". What can I do? I tried to take it off the work offline status through tools and file, but nothing worked.

I assume you're referring to Internet Explorer? It's only in offline mode if "Work Offline" is ticked.
To untick it, just click on "Work Offline" and the tick will disappear.

If it continues to puzzle you, join the many thousands who use a different web browser such as Firefox or Chrome.

Hi Phillip,
I tried to do that through tools and file...it seems to be frozen there. I can not seem to get my laptop out of the "work offline" mode. And yes, I was using Explorer.
