Hi all! It's very nice to be around people who can sympathize with the hours I spent staring at case clearances and TPD numbers and the like.

I can't find a mid-size tower that is small enough to suit my needs, so I would like to go with the following build:

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M (9.8" x 15.9" x 14.1")
Power Supply: Corsair CS750M 750W 80 Plus Gold (150mm x 86 mm x 140 mm)
Motherboard: ASUS Gryphon GRYPHON Z87
CPU Chipset: Intel i7-4770K Haswell
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (CML16GX3M2A1600C9)
GPU: EVGA ACX Cooler GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCIE 3.0
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache (WD2002FAEX)
Cooler: Noctua NH-L12
Sound: Built-in
WiFi: TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900
Optical Drive: LG 24X SATA GH24NS95B
Cables: 2x SATA 3
Thermal Paste: Noctua NT-H1 (comes with cooler)
Extra: ASUS DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Gryphon Armor Kit
Fans: 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120

I have no doubts that many of you have several suggestions about my choices, and I am certainly open to hearing all of them.

With that said, my single biggest question is: Won't the GTX 780 cover up the PCIe slot where the WiFi card is meant to go?

Thanks very much for your help!

Thanks for getting back to me!

It looked to me like the NH-D14 wouldn't fit in that case (there's barely 160mm of clearance). If it will definitely fit, I like the aesthetic better. I'm not concerned about color since (sadly) there's no clear panel on the case.

I was trying to skimp wherever possible, but you're right, an SSD would give a significant performance boost. I'll crunch the numbers.

On the original question, so I have to use a USB WiFi. PCI isn't an option?

I'm not too sure, but USB works just as well as PCI cards.

And you'd have to measure your clearance to see if they'll fit, you can always take a hammer and bend the side panel  just kidding!

But if you think it may not fit-maybe go for a H80i for $80.

I'm afraid it does not work like that :) Otherwise SLI would cancel the other GPU.
Also, ethernet is very slow(compared to other components), you would not have a performance hit for numerous reasons.
But if you're not comfortable with a PCI WiFi adapter, maybe just go with a much simpler installation-USB 3.0. :)
