I'm confused.I want to get the zte majesty phone.I've read on some sources, it has a single core processor and on other sources, say dual core.So which one is correct ? Thanks.

Solution
It appears to be a SINGLE core.
The SoC can have either one or two cores. The main site for the phone does not specify and other review sites I looked at don't mention a dual-core.

Additionally, the phone appears to be relatively inexpensive which suggests it would use the cheaper solution.

*The real question however, is if the phone has good reviews and is snappy to use. If you don't even need the additional processing power then it makes no difference.

UPDATE:
I think it does have dual-core. I read some information which was a bit misleading that said "up to 1.2GHz dual-core" which I took to mean "up to TWO cores" which probably meant "up to 1.2GHz".

Yes. Looking at the various solutions it MUST be a dual-core. Sorry for the confusion.

Just to clarify further,it is qualcomms lowest rung snapdragon, the S4 play, not to be confused with the S4 pro, which uses a more potent ARM 15 core. You might want to consider a Mediatek alternative at this price range, like MT6589, as their quad core processor mops the floor with qualcomm's processor, and supports dual sim.
