I'm getting a PS4 once my preorder comes in. I want to go 100% digital with all my games, i don't want discs.

With the playstation plus (and all the free games) + me downloading all fullgames.
Each game is like 40gb stock HDD is 500gb. It's gunna fill up quick.

I want to do a HDD swap to a 7200 1-1.5tb 2.5in HDD

does anyone know if this voids your warranty? i know this was the case on PS3 (even though i was a 360 guy :p )

Thanks

No, it doesn't void the Warranty. Who told you it voided the PS3 Warranty?

*Plus, getting a disc is a better idea. It installs COMPLETELY to the hard drive anyway but you don't have to WAIT for the massive download or use up your network bandwidth. You can also UNINSTALL if needed for space (your SAVES are stored) and quickly re-install.

Unless you save money with a digital download, I suggest the disc.

Here's one of the videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8_nt2Dwf78

They also did a lengthy test showing that an SSHD could improve load times (about 2x faster). When you start playing a different game your load performance goes back to HDD speeds until you start a couple times and it the buffers to the SSD memory (8GB).

Options:
1) Seagate has a 1TB SSHD for $120
2) Seagate 2TB HDD

The new, 9.5mm, 2.5", 2TB HDD from Seagate is supposedly available but I couldn't find it. I heard it would be $140 to $160.

When you say completely, do you mean I still need the disc to launch the game??

I had all my games installed on the 360, but I had to find my disc anytime I wanted to boot it up.

Like I said I don't like discs and would prefer not to have to worry about them.

Thanks fir your response
