Anybody found how to set cmd window to full screen mode in win 7?

I have a CAD sw that runs OK under XP cmd window. Win 7 cmd window refuses to start the program. Only message is "This system does not support full screen mode". How to solve this?

try alt+enter, if not then maybe it's possible to set the resolution? set it equal to what you are using.
just throwing out ideas, not sure if it will work
