Hi,

Recently finished a new build. Installed the operating system and all seems stable.

Until.. I install my graphics card. Then I can't get an output from the card or motherboard, the monitor displays no signal.

When I then take the card back out and plug the HDMI into the motherboard again it works!

I've got two of these graphics cards and they both behave the same. I've tried connecting them via VGA and still no output on the monitor. I have also upgraded the BIOS to the latest version. Still nothing!

The motherboard is a AsRock Z77 Pro 3 Motherboard.
The graphics cards are EVGA Geforce 210 1GB.

I'm all out of ideas... please help!

Thanks,

Nick.

Have you made sure the integrated graphics chip is disabled in the BIOS? This usually happens automatically when an alternative graphics card is detected, but it wouldn't hurt to check it.

Thanks for the reply!

After doing some research I found this could be a solution.

I've never come across having to enter the BIOS to install a graphics card!

I have a feeling that the graphics card and motherboard just don't want to work together.

Don't know if there is anyone who has had to same problem as me?!
