I bought Kingston HyperX Genesis 2x4 GB (KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX) and want to get a new ASUS-motherboard. But checking the QUALIFIED VENDORS LIST, it seems that most ASUS motherboards don't support these modules: The KHX1600C9D3K2 are listed - but not with 2x4 GB. Instead there are 3x4GB, 3x2GB, 4x4GB etc.
Or the KHX1600C9D3LK2/8GX is listed. One "L" too much... I couldn't find out the differences between those two Kingston-kits.
Is it possible that my KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX will not work with ASUS motherboards like M5A99X or Sabertooth?
Thanks for your help!

Solution
Probably, they will work fine.
ASUS, or any other manufacture of boards is not going to take the time test each and every single memory module type there is. If the module is of the same general family and specs of modules that have been tested, it is safe to assume they most LIKELY will work.
