I had received Forsa GTX560 as gift from my brother a couple of months ago and now I am planning to buy Corsair VS550 550 for my old psu as a replacement. And this is the cheapest psu that i could find after doing a little research and suits my budget too(not very fond of spending money on psus)

please advise is it okay if i go ahead and buy this one?

Yes, that's fine.

However, you should be very fond of spending money on PSUs. The power supply is the most important part in your computer, because if you get a cheap one, it's much more likely to fail, and when it does, it could explode, catch on fire, or overvolt other parts and fry your motherboard, graphics card, all your hard drives, or something else.

Yeah I know that, but I always try not to spend money on computer components, if its a cpu or a gpu I am okay with that, however spending money on computer components am just not convinced, I become a miser whenever things like that just come up. One last question in future if i planned to buy a 7850 or a 560ti should i continue to use the same psu or not? am gonna put in an order right now at flipkart.com to order the same psu that i mentioned in the thread.

Thanks man for the advice, i bought it and it seems that it works fine with my card and i got to hear from some of my friends also that this psu can handle 7850 and 660ti as well, i hope it would.

It should be able to handle both the 660ti and the 760, which would be a better upgrade to consider.
