mainly im upgrading to get a very high end graphics card to play bf4 i got an i5 3470 quad core so i was wondering will that bottleneck, and i wont choose any sli or crossfire and im currently 90% on the 7990 side but whould do you guys think? and i have a Cooler Master K380 case so i think it will fit the 7990,Thanks.

Solution
Forget the 7990 , the card has nothing but issues with some games and is not worth the hassle.
Grab a 780 or 780ti and call it a day, they overclock really well and run cool and quiet compared to the 280/X
If you can afford a 780ti by all means get it, it will play anything you throw at it without any heat or sound issues, later on you will be able to use G-Sync Monitors and also shadow play.
My pick would also be the EVGA ACX 780ti

Do you have any fps benchmarks for bf4 considring mantle will come out on amd cards and have better performance so any 780ti stuff vs 7990 would be much appricated mate and btw i've noticed the 7990 getting more frames in almost everything and but in mind bf4 this year will be better on amd cards because of mantle

don't realy unless i can get some AMAZING performence like on bf4 full ultra settings and like 200% resloution scale

the 780ti is beating everything period. Its the most powerful gpu on the market right now in single gpu. Mantle i dont think is going to be as big as everyone thinks. I mean look at the 290x and all its issues. It was praised to be the god among vid cards and its riddled with issues and far from being a top contender. I would say get the 780ti and call it a day.

780ti beating a 7990? lol give me a benchmark cause i need to see that. only way i would advise you to get a 7990 is if you watercool it of have a high airflow case.

i will be the first to admit the stock cooler on the 290(x) blows bad but either with a waterblock or arctics solution. OC vs. OC the 290x will win.

If you are looking only between the ones you mentioned, get the GTX 780.
Pros:Consumes less Power, great performance at 1080 (which many use),super stable temperature when compared to dual config 7990.

what happend to the 780ti is faster? oh you only supplied 2 games that favor nvidia so duhhh. give me a 3dmark firestrike where that happens....im not saying a 7990 is your best choice but rather a R9- 290. its $400 and gets very reasonable performance to the 780ti and who knows what mantle will do with it.

The fact that the single gpu beat the dual gpu in tests is impressive in itself. You asked to see the 780ti beat the 7990 and i showed you. sure the 7990 beat it in several tests but its a DUAL GPU vs a SINGLE GPU helllllooooooo. Thats just the thing noone knows what mantle is going to do. It may fall flat on its face it may be great noone knows. You also wont have heat issues causing the card to downclock it self and a pc that sounds like a jet engine with the 780ti. Get the 290x and sure enough it'll sound like a jet engine take off. I want to believe in the new 290x but amd/radeon just isn't proving anyone wrong. Sure they can put up all kinds of numbers but some of those numbers are the high temps and the high volume of the fans. I would probably wait till the 290x's got some aftermarket cooling on them and their issues are fixed and see what mantle does before i purchased but i still believe if you want the best regardless of the price the 780ti is your top choice.

I don`t think there`s any info yet, but most sites were referring to end of November - mid December for the non-reference coolers.
I would not buy anything until the R9 290(x) non-ref comes out.
You might get similar performance at a much lower price.

Also, I would not go for the 7990, just thinking in the future, all the money wasted on the power bill...

i've found a video for some benchmarks for the 780 ti in bf4 the main game i'll be playing looks stable abit more than the 7990 more expensive yes and the 7990 has like 10-20 fps more but i guess i'll be safe and i'll just get the EVGA ACX 780ti best option i guess?

The 780ti SC will be fine , it won't overclock as well as the ASX version but at least the hot air will be exhausted out of the back of the card and not into the case.
G-Sync is going to be integrated into monitors for use with nvidia cards to eliminate tearing. Shadow play allows you to capture and stream games
