GPU upgradation confusion

Hello Friends,

I have core i7 2600,asus h67m evo,8gb corsair ram,amd 6870Hd 1gb graphic card.

But now i want to sell my 6870hd graphic card and want to buy a new one.
so please suggest me some models.

should i go for Nvidia Or AMD?
my budget is 200$
can i get better graphic card than 6870hd in this budget? or not sell this card.

The 7870 is in your price range, although it won't be a giant upgrade over your current card. What issues are you having that you want to upgrade? The 7870 is faster and will get you more speed and quality, but are you just wanting to go from 40fps to 60 or from High to Very High settings? In my opinion, those upgrades are not worth $200. Wait till the next gen cards come up, then look at upgrading.

My card is perfect and it has no issues. I want to upgrade because it is 2.5years old now and I will get great price for selling this. But as you said that it's not worth upgrading right now than I will go on hold.
